50th anniversary Adelaide Festival opens this weekend!
This weekend the Adelaide Festival plays host to two of the largest FREE public events ever held in South Australia.

FREE The much-loved Northern Lights returns to North Terrace, bigger and better than ever. Be there for the "Flick the switch" opening this Friday 26 February at 9.45pm on the Festival Plaza, rear of Parliament House. Northern Lights will run nightly dusk-1am, until 5 April.
The Art Gallery is staying up late during the Adelaide Festival, so you can make the most of this stunning extravaganza. Come see the Art Gallery and the 2010 Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art by night from 27 February until 11 March when the gallery closes at 10pm, exhibition closes at 9.30pm. The Bookshop and award-winning Art Gallery Restaurant will be open for pre-show drinks and bar snacks, coffee and sandwiches or à la carte supper.

Victoria Park (Southern End) -
FREE Beyond any pyrotechnic display ever seen in South Australia, French pyro masters Groupe F will banish the night with a FREE show in Victoria Park. Take the family, take a blanket and take your places to see the pyrotechnic magic.
